Thundercrash: Which Game You Are Actually Looking At

Search for "Thunder Crash" and you will find at least two different games wearing almost the same name, plus a handful of look-alikes. Before reading any guide, RTP figure or "tip" about Thundercrash, it pays to know which one is on your screen. This page sorts that out, then explains what the 2024 Qora release does and where it sits next to better-known crash titles.

The Short Answer

The Thundercrash this site focuses on is the Qora title listed by the SlotCatalog database with a release date of 4 November 2024, a published RTP of 97% and low variance. Its setting is a space adventure aboard an airship, and its feature list names a Bonus Bet option, random multipliers and a crash ("burst") mechanic in the Bustabit tradition.

Some fan sites credit a company called TaDa Gaming with a "Thunder Crash". We could not find any TaDa Gaming title by that name. TaDa's crash catalogue includes games such as Cash Balloon, Crash Fruit and Chicken Dash, not Thundercrash.

Notable extrasBonus Bet, random multipliersSix-second betting window, avatars that turn green when a player cashes out, a $100,000 payout ceiling

If your lobby is one of the Bodog-network sites, you are almost certainly playing the in-house arcade version. Anywhere else, check the game's info panel: the provider name is usually printed in the rules or the loading screen.

Two other names cause confusion. Thunderkick, the Swedish slot studio, has not released a game called Thundercrash; its first crash-style title was Heads Will Roll in September 2025, a dice-ladder game set in a vault. Thunderstruck FlyX from Stormcraft Studios is a Norse-themed crash game with its own rules. Neither shares code or maths with Qora's game.

How a Thundercrash Round Works

Strip away the airship and the basic loop is the one every crash player knows:

  1. A betting window opens. You choose a stake before the round begins.
  2. The flight starts. A multiplier climbs from 1.00x while the ship travels.
  3. You decide when to leave. Cash out and your stake is multiplied by the number on screen at that instant.
  4. The burst. At a random point the round ends. Anyone still on board loses the stake for that round.

The burst point is fixed by the game's random number generator before or at the start of the round. Nothing you or other players do during the flight changes it. That single fact explains why the strategy, predictor and pattern-spotting claims covered elsewhere on this site fall apart.

What Makes the Qora Version Different

#### The airship framing

Most crash games use a plane (Aviator), a rocket or a line on a graph. Qora frames the round as a voyage, which matters only for presentation. A slower or faster animation has no effect on the odds; the burst point has already been drawn.

#### The Bonus Bet

The Bonus Bet is the feature most likely to change your results, because it is a separate wager with its own price and payout. Public listings name the feature but do not publish its terms. Before using it, open the in-game paytable and look for three things: what the side bet costs, what event pays it, and whether its RTP differs from the main game's 97%. Side bets in casino games often carry a different return from the base bet, so do not assume it is the same.

#### Low variance

SlotCatalog classifies the game as low variance. In practice that label describes how bumpy a long run of results feels, not how much you will win. Low variance with a 97% RTP still means the expected loss is 3% of every unit staked.

Thundercrash Next to Other Crash Games

Published RTP97%Usually 96% to 99%
ThemeAirship voyage in spacePlane, rocket or chart line

The honest comparison is that Thundercrash is a crash game first and a theme second. The 97% figure puts it in the same band as the best-known titles in the genre. It does not make it easier to beat.

What We Could Not Verify

Plenty of pages quote a maximum multiplier for Thundercrash. The numbers disagree: some say 10,000x, others 100,000x, and several mix up Qora's game with the Bodog version and its $100,000 payout ceiling. Without a rules sheet from Qora itself, we do not print a top multiplier here. The same goes for the Bonus Bet: we know it exists, not what it pays.

If you need either figure, the game's own information panel at a licensed casino is the authority. A review site, including this one, is not.

Why This Site Tracks It

Thunder Crash Tracker exists to explain the numbers. We publish breakdowns of the rules, the RTP maths and the common scams aimed at players. We do not sell signals, take bets or partner with Qora or any casino. Every past round is independent of the next one, so a history of results is a learning tool, never a forecast.

Thunder Crash Tracker is an independent educational site. It is not affiliated with Qora, Bodog, Bovada or any casino operator. Crash games carry a built-in house edge and can cause real financial harm. Gambling is for adults only and only where it is legal. If betting stops being fun, stop, and contact a local support service such as BeGambleAware or the National Council on Problem Gambling.

Frequently Asked Questions

The 2024 Thundercrash covered here is listed under the provider Qora, released on 4 November 2024. A separate retro-styled ThunderCrash runs on the Bodog, Bovada and Ignition sites. We found no TaDa Gaming or Thunderkick game called Thundercrash.
No. Both are crash games with a rising multiplier and a cash-out button, but Aviator is made by Spribe and uses a plane, while Qora's Thundercrash uses a space airship theme and offers a Bonus Bet side wager.
Qora's Thundercrash is listed with a 97% RTP, which means a 3% house edge over the long run. We could not confirm an official RTP for the Bodog-network version.
Licensed versions use a random number generator to set each burst point, and the house edge is built into the published RTP rather than hidden. The game is designed to lose money slowly on average, which is different from being rigged.
